Job description:
Oakhill Garden Center, located in
Richmond Hill, Ontario, is pleased to announce that it is expanding its
operations with the introduction of new product and service offerings.
We are a growing, creative and team focused on helping people create stylish and sustainable outdoor living environments. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the establishment of a retail garden center, and as such, the Company is seeking creative, energetic, customer-focused and operations-minded individuals to join Oakhill Garden Center.
Responsibilities:

Carry out to completion details of landscape plans for commercial and residential
landscape projects as directed by Construction Foreman.
· Tree, shrub, annual and perennial planting.
· Soil and aggregate installations.
· General knowledge of landscape construction techniques and materials.
· Familiar with operation of skid steers, mini-excavators, tampers, wheel barrel, etc.
· Hand load and off-load trees, shrubs, stones, bags etc. when necessary.
· Garden Center maintenance when necessary

Job Requirements
|
|
|
|
Education, training, experience:
|
Horticultural and general landscape
experience, an asset.
Valid Class G driver’s licence.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Maintain top physical shape with the
ability to handle all physical expectations and varying outdoor weather
conditions
Ability to work well with others
